Interns

The American Association for Palestinian Equal Rights (AAPER) is a Washington, DC-based educational organization whose mission is to educate the American public about the history and human rights of the Palestinian people, and the role of the United States in the Middle East.  AAPER’s website is www.americansforpalestine.org 
 

AAPER is currently accepting applications for its spring internship program. The internship program is open to undergraduate, graduate and law students.  Spring internships run from January through May, though may vary depending on interns’ specific schedules.

 

AAPER interns will have the opportunity to work on research, writing and public education related to Palestinian rights and U.S. policy toward Palestine.  Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Researching and writing about situation in Palestine;
  • Assisting in organizing AAPER educational events;
  • When appropriate, presenting information about Palestine to audiences at AAPER educational events; and
  • Updating AAPER's website.
