House Party for Palestine -- five steps

1) Invite Guests -- Invite family, friends, neighbors, colleagues or others who are supportive or potentially supportive of a just U.S. policy toward Palestine.  If you use Facebook, create a Facebook event, invite your FB friends and send emails.  Feel free to use the text here for your event, invites and emails.

2) Inform Guests About Palestine -- At the party, take a few minutes to inform guests about the situation in Palestine through a presentation, a short film (we can send you a list) or, best yet, a personal story about how you came to care about Palestinian human rights, why you believe that the situation in Palestine is important, and why you think others should care.

3) Asks Guests to Give You 5 for Palestine -- After informing your guests about Palestine, ask them to give you 5 for Palestine as a modest, yet meaningful, way of taking action.  If you or your friends have laptops or iPads, set them up at the party so that guests can register on the spot at www.fiveforpalestine.org.

4) Recruit Others -- Ask your guests to recruit their friends and family to give them 5 for Palestine at http://www.fiveforpalestine.org.  Ask those invitees who weren't able to attend to do the same.

5) Win a Thank You Reward -- If you are able to recruit just 5 or more people, you can win one of these great 5 for Palestine thank you rewards. But make sure to keep track of your recruits (which you can do using a simple spreadsheet) and make sure that they take all 5 steps so that they can count as your recruits!
